About This Position
Under general direction, perform work of considerable difficulty in managing or assisting in the management of a major service yard division of the Operations Department at MSD.
Manage or assist in managing the daily operations for an area of the District’s infrastructure including combined, sanitary, and stormwater collection systems; directs, develops, and motivates staff to meet objectives that assist in achieving the District’s strategic business plan; assist with the planning, staffing and organizing the operational activities and functions of a yard; help manage employee performance against operational and maintenance goals; supervise planning, scheduling and developing a long range maintenance schedule; work with consultants and contractors on design and construction projects; interact with public by addressing concerns and complaints; budget preparation and monitor budget throughout the fiscal year; assist in establishing and administering yard policies; train and/or supervise training program for personnel; requisition parts and supplies and other material necessary for operations and maintenance.
Salary
$90,000 – $138,600
