Call for Model Water Tower Competition Volunteers

Volunteers needed for the MO-AWWA Model Water Tour Competition (MWTC) which encourages creativity and ingenuity while introducing students to the importance and variety of careers in the water practice.

aSTEAM Village is a non-profit organization with a mission for “engaging students, families, and educators in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) pathways to facilitate career and educational readiness in the 21^st Century economies of today and tomorrow.” (asteamvilliage.org)

Volunteers will test the hydraulic capacity, structural stability, and specification compliance of the model towers.

Thanks to all the parents and students who submitted creative, innovative water towers from almost entirely recycled materials. Thanks to our volunteers who worked so hard getting everyone through each of the stations quickly. Thanks to William and everyone at aSTEAM Village for bringing such bright students together to learn more about Engineering.
